Bird strikes are a significant threat to flight safety, and have caused a number of accidents with human casualties.

A bird strike event on aircraft wing structure is successfully simulated with LS-Dyna with its strong damage and failure modelling capabilities. Velocity of Bird is assumed to be 198000 mm/sec

The observed stresses were below Ultimate Stresses.

Pressure Analysis on Aeroplane wing

In Static Pressure Analysis Under Side Of the Airplane Wing Uniform Pressure Applied under side of wing . Wing has been constrained at the fuselage side. Aluminum material is used for airplane wing. The observed max stress is below Allowable Stress.
